Is our data shared with other PacTerm customers?
No. PacTerm enforces strict isolation: every database query is automatically scoped to your organization, requests without a resolvable organization are refused, and each organization’s files are stored in a dedicated tenant space. Tenant isolation has its own automated test suite.
How does PacTerm use AI on our data?
PacTerm uses established, enterprise-grade AI providers for extraction, standardization, linking, Q&A and semantic search. AI credentials are configured per organization, encrypted at rest and never exposed in the app interface, and each organization’s contracts are processed in isolation.
Can contract processing stay on our own machines?
Yes. PacTerm is available as a desktop application for Mac and Windows, so documents are processed on your own hardware. We help your IT team set it up during onboarding.
